Pain management physician care for reduced function

Pain management physician care helps people decide what to do when pain changes how they move. Advanced Injury Care Clinic evaluates injury history, symptoms, joint movement, and soft-tissue concerns before care begins.

This page fits people dealing with persistent symptoms after auto accidents, workplace injuries, sports injuries, or everyday strain. The key decision is whether an assessment can address the musculoskeletal source of the problem and support a safer return to normal activity.

Some symptoms need medical care beyond chiropractic treatment. Severe weakness, serious trauma, chest pain, or other urgent signs need prompt medical attention. Our team focuses on the conditions and goals that fit our treatment scope.

  • Describe when the pain began and what movement makes it worse.
  • Bring relevant injury details, health history, and current treatment information.
  • Ask how spinal adjustments, corrective exercises, or therapeutic modalities fit the care plan.
  • Discuss follow-up needs when symptoms affect work, sleep, exercise, or daily tasks.

Service Overview

A pain management physician is a medical care service that assesses pain sources and helps guide treatment for movement-limiting conditions.

  • Chiropractic care focuses on the musculoskeletal system through methods such as spinal adjustments, corrective exercise, and soft-tissue therapy.
  • Advanced Injury Care Clinic provides this care for people in La Vergne and surrounding Middle Tennessee communities.

What patients gain from a focused pain care plan

A structured assessment helps connect symptoms with movement and injury history.

Corrective exercises give patients active steps to practice as part of care.

Treatment planning keeps the patient’s condition and daily goals in view.

Care may support better mobility when pain has limited normal activity.

Follow-up review helps the team adjust care as the patient’s response changes.

How to judge whether this pain care fits

Assessment before treatment

The first visit includes a health history and exam before we select care methods. That matters when back pain, nerve pain, or muscle spasms have more than one possible source.

Care matched to your condition

A personalized treatment plan may combine spinal adjustments, corrective exercises, therapeutic modalities, and rehabilitation. Each part should relate to the findings and your movement goals.

A clear treatment boundary

Chiropractic pain care is not the right service for every symptom. Severe trauma, urgent medical signs, or conditions outside musculoskeletal care need another medical pathway.

Process

How pain care moves from assessment to follow-up

1

Share your health history

The new patient intake records the injury, symptoms, prior care, and activities affected by pain.

2

Complete the health history and exam

We review movement, joint concerns, soft-tissue symptoms, and the pattern of pain during the examination.

3

Review the care plan

The findings guide a personalized treatment plan that may include spinal adjustments, exercises, therapeutic modalities, or rehabilitation.

4

Practice the recommended exercises

Corrective exercises support movement between visits and give you practical steps for your recovery goals.

5

Review progress and next steps

Follow-up care checks how symptoms and movement are changing, then keeps the plan focused on your condition.

This place is amazing. The staff is friendly. The office is clean and laid back. Not much of a wait. The doctor walks you through every step and tells you what he’s going to do and has answers any questions I’ve had to the best of his knowledge. Normally I am afraid to go to doctors and be in offices but this place has been a different experience. I would recommend anyone to come here. The front desk ladies are helpful and friendly

Questions about pain care and reduced function

When should I consult a pain management physician?

Reduced function deserves an assessment when pain continues after an injury or disrupts daily movement. Back pain, neck pain, nerve pain, headaches, and muscle spasms can all affect function. The first visit reviews your history and symptoms, then helps determine whether chiropractic care fits. Severe trauma or urgent medical signs require prompt medical attention.

Who provides this pain care in La Vergne?

Advanced Injury Care Clinic provides pain management physician care in La Vergne. Our team works with people recovering from auto accidents, workplace injuries, sports injuries, and everyday musculoskeletal pain. Care starts with an intake and exam, followed by a plan that may include adjustments, exercises, therapeutic modalities, and rehabilitation.

How does a visit move from the first call to the last step?

The visit moves from intake and examination to a personalized treatment plan and progress review.

  1. Share your injury history and current symptoms.
  2. Complete the health history and exam.
  3. Review suitable treatment methods.
  4. Follow the recommended care plan.
  5. Discuss progress and next steps.

The exact plan depends on the condition and response to care.

Which part of care changes how long treatment takes?

Persistent symptoms, nerve pain, muscle spasms, and the response to care can change the treatment path. A health history and exam help us understand the starting point. Injury type, movement limits, and the exercises that fit your goals also shape follow-up needs. We review progress instead of assigning a fixed treatment length.

What changes the cost of a pain care visit?

The assessment findings and services included in the care plan change the cost. A visit may involve an examination, spinal adjustments, corrective exercises, therapeutic modalities, or rehabilitation. Contact Advanced Injury Care Clinic for pricing information tied to your situation. No general amount can describe every patient’s care.

Why might pain continue after an injury?

Pain may continue when joint movement, soft-tissue strain, nerve irritation, or muscle guarding remains after an injury. A focused exam helps connect the symptom pattern with movement and injury history. Our team then discusses care that fits the findings. Individual response differs, so treatment plans are reviewed as care progresses.

How can I tell whether this care fits my symptoms?

Chiropractic pain care may fit musculoskeletal symptoms that affect movement, such as back pain, neck pain, whiplash, or joint discomfort. An assessment is the safest way to review fit. Bring details about the injury, pain pattern, and daily limits. Severe or urgent symptoms need medical attention outside this service.
