Pain management physician care for treatment decisions in Franklin

Pain management physician care helps patients decide what to do when pain continues after an auto accident, workplace injury, sports injury, or daily strain. The work focuses on the source, pattern, and effect of pain, then connects those findings to a treatment plan.

Physical therapy is one part of that decision. The movement check can show how pain affects strength, range of motion, and daily tasks. Medication plans, nerve blocks, and regenerative injections may also be discussed when the assessment supports them.

The main buyer question is fit. Patients should bring their symptoms, prior treatment details, and recovery goals so the care plan reflects the whole condition, not one isolated complaint.

  • Describe when the pain began and what makes it worse.
  • Bring details about auto accidents, workplace injuries, or sports injuries.
  • List current treatments, medicines, and exercises.
  • Explain which daily movements or tasks have become difficult.

This place is amazing. The staff is friendly. The office is clean and laid back. Not much of a wait. The doctor walks you through every step and tells you what he’s going to do and has answers any questions I’ve had to the best of his knowledge. Normally I am afraid to go to doctors and be in offices but this place has been a different experience. I would recommend anyone to come here. The front desk ladies are helpful and friendly

Questions patients ask about pain treatment choices

What treatments can a pain management physician recommend?

Physical therapy can support movement, strength, and daily function as part of pain care. Other options may include medication plans, nerve blocks, regenerative injections, corrective exercises, and injury rehabilitation. The assessment determines which choices fit the patient’s symptoms, health history, and recovery goals.

How does a first pain care visit work?

The first visit reviews symptoms, health history, movement limits, and prior treatment. The assessment may include:

  • A discussion of when pain began.
  • A check of movement and function.
  • A review of current treatment and goals.
  • A personalized plan for the next step.

The plan changes when the findings call for a different approach.

Which treatment option changes with the pain source?

The pain source helps determine whether rehabilitation, medication planning, nerve blocks, or regenerative injections fit the case. Back pain with movement limits may call for corrective exercises, while targeted symptoms may prompt a discussion of nerve blocks. Individual response differs, so treatment choices follow the assessment.

Can care address pain after an auto accident?

Yes, injury care can address pain after an auto accident when the symptoms fit the clinic’s treatment scope. Whiplash, neck pain, back pain, headaches, and soft-tissue injuries may need different parts of the plan. Bring the injury history and prior care details so the assessment covers the full concern.

Why might pain continue after chiropractic treatment?

Pain may continue when an injury involves more than joint movement or when daily strain keeps triggering symptoms. A broader assessment reviews soft-tissue symptoms, function, health history, and prior treatment. The next plan may include corrective exercises, medication planning, or other options suited to the condition.

What should I bring to the first appointment?

Patients should bring a list of current medicines, treatment details, injury information, and questions about daily function. Notes about pain triggers can also help. Patients in Franklin can describe whether symptoms followed an auto accident, workplace injury, sports injury, or everyday strain.
