Walk-in clinic care for injuries in La Vergne

This page is for people who need an initial check for minor injuries, acute pain, sprains, or muscle strains. The key decision is whether the condition fits chiropractic care and injury rehabilitation, or needs another type of medical evaluation.

The first visit includes a health history and exam. We check how the affected area moves, where it hurts, and whether symptoms point to a broader concern. X-rays may be considered if clinically indicated.

A walk-in visit doesn't replace emergency care for severe symptoms. Our team focuses on musculoskeletal concerns and explains the next step after the assessment.

  • Bring details about when the pain or injury began.
  • Share changes in movement, tenderness, headaches, or joint discomfort.
  • Tell the care team about an auto accident, workplace injury, sports injury, or daily activity linked to the pain.
  • Ask which treatment methods fit the findings from the exam.

How we approach injury care

The exam guides the plan

The health history and exam come before treatment choices. Findings guide whether we use adjustments, corrective exercises, therapeutic modalities, or rehabilitation.

Care fits the injury

Auto accidents, workplace injuries, sports injuries, and daily pain can affect movement in different ways. We shape the plan around the condition and the patient's goals.

Clear cost discussion

We provide upfront pricing before treatment begins, so the patient can understand the financial side of the proposed care.

Know when this is not the right visit

A walk-in clinic is not the right setting for severe symptoms or a condition that needs urgent medical care beyond musculoskeletal treatment.

A client scenario this service addresses

A person in La Vergne may seek care after lifting, playing sports, working, or being involved in a collision. We assess the affected area, check movement and tenderness, and explain whether chiropractic treatment fits the findings.

I called this clinic to make a appointment thinking it was going to be a few days to weeks before they could see me and I was told to come right on in right then and there. The clinic is so nice and clean and has a very friendly environment. The staff is so nice and very understanding and they will work with you on your appointments to make sure it fit your needs. The Doctor is fantastic he is well educated and will explain everything to you that he’s going to do. He has a good personality and sense of humor. The receptionist is so sweet and also has the best personality. They don’t make you wait to be seen when you come in for your appointments, they get you right on to the back. They clean and sanitize everything after each use. I would highly recommend this place. I’m so glad I chose to come here. I’m feeling better & better after each visit. This is the best chiropractor I’ve ever been.

Questions about injury visits and treatment choices

What concerns can a walk-in clinic evaluate?

Muscle strains, minor injuries, acute pain, and sprains are concerns a walk-in clinic can evaluate. Advanced Injury Care Clinic also assesses neck pain, back pain, whiplash, headaches, joint discomfort, and soft-tissue injuries. The health history and exam help determine whether chiropractic care fits. Severe symptoms may need medical care outside this clinic.

What happens at each stage of a first visit?

A first visit moves from intake to examination, findings, and treatment planning. The new patient intake records the concern and health history. The exam checks movement and tenderness, while X-rays may be considered if clinically indicated. A report of findings then explains the care options. The patient can discuss upfront pricing before treatment begins.

What does the care team look at first?

The care team first reviews the health history and the reason for the visit. Movement, tenderness, pain patterns, and related symptoms help shape the assessment. A collision, workplace event, sports activity, or daily strain may change what we check. These findings guide the decision about adjustments, exercises, modalities, or rehabilitation.

What should be checked before care is scheduled?

The main concern, injury cause, and need for a physical exam should be checked before care is scheduled. Share when symptoms began and whether movement, headaches, or joint pain changed afterward. Our team can then discuss whether the visit fits the concern. Bring relevant medical records or injury details if you have them.

Which treatment methods might follow the exam?

Spinal adjustments, corrective exercises, soft tissue therapy, and therapeutic modalities may follow the exam. The treatment plan depends on the condition and the findings from the visit. An Activator instrument, adjusting table, therapeutic ultrasound, or TENS unit may be considered when appropriate. Individual response differs, so progress is reviewed during care.

Why might an injury need another type of medical care?

An injury may need another type of medical care when symptoms suggest a serious condition outside musculoskeletal treatment. Severe pain, major loss of function, or concerning changes require prompt medical judgment. Our clinic evaluates the condition and explains the next step. We don't promise that chiropractic treatment fits every injury.

How does upfront pricing work before treatment?

Upfront pricing explains the expected cost of the proposed care before treatment begins. The assessment needed and the treatment plan affect what is discussed. We review the plan with you after the exam, so the price conversation relates to the actual care being considered. No amount is stated here because each visit depends on its findings.
