Local Expertise in Goodlettsville

Applied kinesiology helps us study how your muscles and joints respond during movement. This page focuses on the care-plan question, so you can understand how clinical history, muscle responses, and mobility findings shape treatment.

The process suits people with neck pain, back pain, whiplash, headaches, joint discomfort, or soft-tissue injuries. It also fits patients recovering from auto accidents, workplace injuries, sports injuries, and everyday pain.

The key decision is whether the findings support chiropractic care and movement work. Applied kinesiology isn't the right service for every medical concern, so we assess your condition and explain the next step before treatment begins.

  • Bring a clear account of when your pain began and what activities affect it.
  • Tell us about an auto accident, workplace injury, sports injury, or past treatment.
  • Expect movement checks that help connect symptoms with a personalized care plan.
  • Ask which treatment methods fit your current findings and daily goals.

Service Overview

Applied kinesiology is a hands-on assessment approach that reviews muscle responses and movement patterns.

  • It differs from a general massage because the care plan also considers clinical history, mobility findings, and chiropractic treatment.
  • Advanced Injury Care Clinic provides applied kinesiology in Goodlettsville and surrounding Middle Tennessee communities.

How We Approach Applied Kinesiology Care

A plan built from your history

Clinical history comes first because the same symptom can follow different injuries. We use your account and exam findings to shape the care plan.

Movement findings guide treatment

Muscle responses and mobility findings help us decide which chiropractic methods deserve attention. We explain the reason for each recommended step.

A clear limit on fit

Applied kinesiology is not the right job for every condition. We focus on musculoskeletal concerns and direct the visit toward appropriate care when the findings call for a different medical response.

Process

How We Develop an Applied Kinesiology Care Plan

1

Review the clinical history

We discuss your symptoms, injury history, daily activities, and treatment goals. This gives the exam a clear starting point.

2

Check muscle responses

We use hands-on movement checks to assess muscle responses related to the concern you reported.

3

Assess mobility findings

We look at joint and soft-tissue movement to identify limits that may affect your comfort or function.

4

Match care to findings

We explain whether spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, therapeutic modalities, or rehabilitation care fit the assessment.

5

Review the plan with you

We discuss the next steps and answer questions before care continues. Follow-up findings can guide later changes.

This place is amazing. The staff is friendly. The office is clean and laid back. Not much of a wait. The doctor walks you through every step and tells you what he’s going to do and has answers any questions I’ve had to the best of his knowledge. Normally I am afraid to go to doctors and be in offices but this place has been a different experience. I would recommend anyone to come here. The front desk ladies are helpful and friendly

Questions About Applied Kinesiology Care

How is an applied kinesiology care plan developed?

Corrective exercises are selected after we review your clinical history, muscle responses, and mobility findings. Advanced Injury Care Clinic then connects those findings with your symptoms and goals. The plan may include spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, therapeutic modalities, or injury rehabilitation. We explain the reason for each step before care proceeds.

What should be checked before applied kinesiology is scheduled?

Your symptoms, injury history, and main movement concern should be reviewed before treatment is scheduled. Share details about auto accidents, workplace injuries, sports injuries, and past care. Our team uses that information to decide how the assessment should begin and which concerns need attention during the visit.

What does the care team look at first?

Clinical history comes first because it gives context to muscle responses and mobility findings. The review covers when symptoms began, what affects them, and how they change daily activity. A focused exam follows, and the findings help us choose appropriate chiropractic treatment.

Which treatment might follow the assessment?

The assessment may lead to spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, therapeutic modalities, or injury rehabilitation. The choice depends on your condition and exam findings. Patients with similar symptoms may need different care plans because their injuries, movement limits, and goals differ.

When is applied kinesiology the wrong fit?

Applied kinesiology is the wrong fit when the concern falls outside musculoskeletal care or needs another medical response. Our assessment focuses on pain, movement limits, joint discomfort, and soft-tissue concerns. We explain the next step when the findings do not support this type of chiropractic treatment.

Why might back pain return after treatment?

Back pain may return when movement limits, muscle responses, or daily activity demands remain unresolved. A follow-up assessment can compare your current mobility with earlier findings. We then review whether the care plan needs a different focus, such as rehabilitation work or changes to the treatment approach.

How should I prepare for an assessment in Goodlettsville?

A clear symptom history helps the assessment start with useful information. Note when the problem began, which movements affect it, and whether an accident or work task caused it. Bring relevant treatment details and describe your daily goals so our team can connect the exam with your recovery needs.
