Scoliosis Treatment for Limited Mobility in Smyrna

Scoliosis treatment focuses on how spinal curves, muscle tension, and movement habits affect daily function. This page is for people who notice increasing discomfort, uneven hips, muscle fatigue, or posture changes alongside reduced mobility.

The first decision is whether chiropractic care fits the condition. Our team reviews your health history and performs an exam before recommending care. X-rays may be considered if clinically indicated, and we explain the findings during a report of findings.

A plan may include diversified technique, soft tissue therapy, corrective exercises, or therapeutic modalities. Individual response differs, so we track movement and symptoms during care and adjust the plan when needed.

  • Bring a list of current symptoms and the movements that feel harder.
  • Share prior injury details, health history, and any available imaging.
  • Ask how spinal adjustments, corrective exercises, and home care fit together.
  • Discuss the financial terms before treatment begins.

This is the most friendliest and efficient doctor’s office I ever visited. The lady at the front desk !!!! AMAZING. Great customer service. The doctor asks perfect questions and made me feel comfortable and confident with my treatment plan. Highly recommended for all patients. Even if you’re just learning to walk again! The equipment and service provided is well worth the visit.

My fiancé & I was in an accident on 4/16/2024 and since we started treatment at the clinic the staff has been very helpful. They’re very professional, polite& efficient. Dr. Roberts always make sure that she ask us if we’re ok before and after treatment. She also makes sure that we clearly understand the process and answers any question’s or concerns that we may have. I would recommend her to anyone that needs proper treatment after an injury.

Questions about scoliosis care and appointments

What should be ready before scoliosis treatment starts?

A symptom list, health history, and prior injury information help us begin the assessment. Bring available imaging or medical records if you have them.

  • Note which movements feel limited.
  • List current symptoms and past care.
  • Share relevant medication or health details.

The intake and exam guide the next discussion.

What should I ask before agreeing to care?

Your questions should cover the findings, recommended methods, expected follow-up, and financial terms. Ask which parts of the plan address movement, muscle tension, or posture. We explain the report of findings and upfront pricing before treatment begins. You can also ask when progress will be reviewed and what exercises belong at home.

Which condition changes the time needed for care?

The condition of your movement, symptoms, muscle balance, and prior injuries can change the care plan. A health history and exam show how these factors relate to your goals. We don't assign a fixed treatment schedule without reviewing you first. Progress re-examination helps guide later decisions as your response becomes clearer.

How does chiropractic care differ from physical therapy for scoliosis?

Chiropractic care may combine spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and corrective exercises. Physical therapy may use a different evaluation and exercise model. The right choice depends on your condition, goals, and findings. Our team explains whether chiropractic treatment fits after the health history and movement exam.

Can scoliosis care include exercises at home?

Corrective exercises can form part of a scoliosis care plan when they fit the assessment. We choose movements based on posture, spinal motion, muscle balance, and function. Home exercises work best when you understand the form and purpose. Follow-up visits give us a chance to discuss comfort and movement changes.
