Neuropathy Treatment in Brentwood for contributing conditions

Neuropathy treatment is designed for people who notice burning, tingling, numbness, or altered sensation. It may also fit patients whose nerve symptoms began after an injury or alongside back, neck, or joint pain.

The key decision is whether your symptoms need a broader assessment. Diabetes, nerve compression, and vitamin deficiency can create different care needs, so our team reviews your history before selecting treatment.

Care may include spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, corrective exercises, therapeutic modalities, and injury rehabilitation. Results vary, and the right plan depends on your condition and goals.

  • Bring a list of current symptoms and when they began.
  • Share relevant health history, medications, and prior injuries.
  • Ask how the assessment will guide your personalized treatment plan.
  • Discuss progress checks and home exercises before treatment begins.

Service Overview

Neuropathy Treatment is a care plan that addresses nerve-related symptoms and factors that may affect nerve function.

  • Chiropractic care focuses on musculoskeletal alignment and movement, while neuropathy care also considers health history and possible nerve stress.
  • Advanced Injury Care Clinic provides this care in Brentwood and surrounding Middle Tennessee communities.

How neuropathy care supports daily movement

A full assessment helps connect nerve symptoms with related movement or injury concerns.

Corrective exercises may support strength, balance, and body control during recovery.

Spinal adjustments and soft tissue therapy may help address musculoskeletal stress linked with discomfort.

A personalized plan gives you practical steps for care between appointments.

Regular maintenance may help you stay engaged with movement goals after active injury care.

What to consider before choosing neuropathy care

A plan based on your condition

Each plan starts with an assessment, not a preset treatment list. Our licensed chiropractic care team uses the findings to guide care and explain the next step.

Care that includes movement

Corrective exercises and injury rehabilitation can support the work done during an appointment. Your plan may include home movements that match your current ability.

Know when another medical step matters

Neuropathy care is not the right first step for every symptom. Sudden weakness, major loss of balance, or rapidly changing symptoms need prompt medical evaluation.

Process

How we assess and plan neuropathy care

1

Review symptoms and health history

We discuss numbness, tingling, burning, pain, injury history, and health conditions that may affect nerve function.

2

Complete the physical assessment

The examination checks movement, joint function, muscle response, and areas that may place stress on nerves.

3

Explain the findings

We review what the assessment suggests and discuss whether chiropractic care fits your needs.

4

Build the treatment plan

Your plan may include spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, corrective exercises, therapeutic modalities, or rehabilitation.

5

Review progress

Follow-up checks help us discuss changes in symptoms, movement, and daily function as care continues.

My fiancé & I was in an accident on 4/16/2024 and since we started treatment at the clinic the staff has been very helpful. They’re very professional, polite& efficient. Dr. Roberts always make sure that she ask us if we’re ok before and after treatment. She also makes sure that we clearly understand the process and answers any question’s or concerns that we may have. I would recommend her to anyone that needs proper treatment after an injury.

Questions about neuropathy care and appointments

How is neuropathy care matched to my condition before treatment starts?

The assessment matches care to your symptoms, health history, movement, and likely sources of nerve stress. We review the affected areas and note findings that may change the plan. Spinal adjustments, corrective exercises, soft tissue therapy, and therapeutic modalities are considered only when they fit your needs.

Which warning signs need medical evaluation before chiropractic care?

Sudden weakness, major balance problems, or rapidly worsening numbness need prompt medical evaluation. New loss of bladder or bowel control also requires urgent medical attention. Our team can discuss your symptoms, but chiropractic treatment should not delay care for serious or fast-changing warning signs.

What should be ready before neuropathy treatment starts?

Your symptom history, medication list, injury details, and relevant health records should be ready before care starts. A clear timeline helps us understand changes in sensation and movement. Bring questions about daily activities, exercise, and prior treatment so the assessment can address your main concerns.

Why might diabetes affect the neuropathy care plan?

Diabetes can affect nerve health, so your health history becomes part of treatment planning. We ask about symptoms, medical care, and changes you have noticed. Chiropractic care may address related musculoskeletal concerns, but diabetes management remains part of your medical care with the appropriate healthcare team.

Can back pain and nerve symptoms be assessed together?

Back pain and nerve symptoms can be assessed together when they occur at the same time. Our examination checks spinal motion, muscle function, and areas that reproduce symptoms. We then explain whether adjustments, exercises, rehabilitation, or another medical evaluation best fits the findings.
